Paul has just completed a fantastic job of re painting our kitchen & utility room cupboards & drawers. High quality finished product, nothing was to much trouble, couldn’t be happier.Mr & Mrs Smart, Little Houghton, Northamptonshire
Paul painted our solid oak kitchen / diner and study and did an absolutely amazing job. He had a real eye for detail, neat and tidy and very organised. He respected our home like it was his own and fitted in his work around our needs. He also kept to the original timelines he had indicated. Our kitchen has been beautifully transformed and literally looks like a brand new bespoke kitchen. The transformation is just simply stunning. Paul was super professional right from the initial query through to finishing the job. He is a really nice person and an absolute star. It was a pleasure to have him around working in our kitchen - he is a incredibly talented craftsman. Paul’s pricing was also very reasonable for the whole service offered. Once we had agreed to use Paul, he provided a number of samples of painted wood since whilst we were trying to make up our mind on the colours. He was always very responsive and would out samples quickly. His professionalism, dedicated and commitment to our project was impressive and rare to find these days. He truly enjoys his work and this comes through in the finish. If you are looking to get your kitchen painted, simply get in touch with Paul and you will have a great experience and an amazing kitchen at the end of it!

Paul has been working on my kitchen whilst I have been away with work and I cannot believe what a transformation it has made. Upon my return I was in awe and literally stood for 20 minutes just admiring his work. I had all my cabinets/carcass's repainted and the wooden worktops re-stained which has truly transformed a dated looking kitchen into a statement piece. The quality of the painting has to be seen to be appreciated, it looks better than new. Paul kept me upto date with pictures throughout the process and I cannot recommend him highly enough, proper craftsman!Blakesley, Northamptonshire
I cannot recommend Paul and his son highly enough. Our kitchen was good quality and hand built, but about 25 years old and definitely in need of some attention.I would not have thought it possible to transform the units so dramatically, Paul took the doors away and they came back looking as new, the carcasses were renovated and painted in situ and he and son managed to do this without leaving a mess at all. He fitted new door handles and refurbished the existing hinges. We had a free-standing unit which he painted the same colour, and the quality of the work means it looks as though it has just been delivered from the showroom.Paul is very good at what he does, and consequently you may have to book a few months in advance as he is understandably much in demand. We are so pleased with the transformation of our kitchen and as a bonus he and his son are great company to have around.
Paul has just transformed our 20 year old, slightly tired and dated maple kitchen into a sleek, modern cream kitchen. Notwithstanding his very early one and a half hour commute to our Hertfordshire home, he worked tirelessly to create a superb finish to our cupboards and drawers etc. - we are absolutely delighted with the result! He is thorough, professional and offers an outstanding service and all at a very reasonable price. We would recommend anyone wishing to update and refresh an existing kitchen to contact Paul, we're confident they'll be glad they did.
Our light oak kitchen was 30 years old, looking tired and in need of an upgrade. Fortunately we found Paul who explained that we could paint the Kitchen in preference to replacing it with all the upheaval this entails. We looked at work he had carried out at Bell’s showroom in Northampton and was amazed at the finish he achieved.Paul repainted our units in the colour of our choice, it looks great and has completely transformed the kitchen, we are very pleased with the outcome. On a personal note Paul is totally trustworthy, reliable and a pleasure to have around, an absolute gem who we recommend without hesitation.
Paul Barber is one of the best in the trade when it comes to hand painting furniture and kitchens, he has worked with us for many years and carried out new kitchen and also refurbishment work for Parker Kitchens.Paul has a good eye for detail and is always very professionalI can highly recommend his work and serviceD. Parker (Managing Director)
We have 30 year old Oak kitchen units that Paul and his son have painted for us and we could not be happier with the finished result. Paul had a long waiting list of customers (for obvious reasons) but my goodness it was worth the wait and actually fitted in well with all the other work on our kitchen. His attention to detail is excellent and any blemishes in the original cabinets were corrected during the process. I cannot see any brush marks in the paint on either the doors or the frames which were painted on site. Nothing was too much trouble and Paul was always willing to give me advice regarding painting.I would happily recommend Paul for work of this type to anyone requiring a quality job.
We couldn’t be happier with our newly refurbished Chalon Bespoke kitchen, Both Paul’s did a great job - a pleasure to have them in our house with us. We would recommend them without any doubt. Thank youVictoria & Richard
Paul painted our Pine kitchen bought from Bells 25 years ago. Paul’s work is outstanding, he is professional, reliable and thorough. He arrives when he says he will and nothing is too much trouble. Although hand painted there are no brush marks it looks like a new kitchen. He replaced door knobs and hinges and repaired dents and scratches prior to painting.Would have no hesitation in recommending him. Thank you Paul.
