How We Paint Kitchens
This short film shows our traditional approach to hand-painted kitchen refurbishment — from careful preparation and workshop work through to painting on site and the completed finish.

What You’re Seeing
The video follows a typical project from start to finish. It begins with careful protection and preparation, then shows doors being worked on in the workshop under controlled conditions.
You’ll also see the on-site stages, where fixed cabinetry is painted by hand in its original setting, before final checks and reassembly.
The finished kitchen demonstrates how existing cabinetry can be transformed with proper preparation and traditional methods, without replacement.
Process Overview
- Removal and careful preparation of doors and surfaces
- Workshop hand-painting of doors and components under controlled conditions
- On-site hand painting of fixed cabinetry and final blending
- Drying time between coats, followed by reassembly and checks
Every kitchen is assessed individually, and the preparation is tailored to the construction and condition of the cabinetry.
Why the Process Matters
A durable, even finish depends far more on preparation and method than speed. Allowing time between stages ensures the paint cures properly and performs as intended under normal use.
