Our Process

OUR PROCESS

A considered, traditional approach to hand-painted kitchen refurbishment.

Initial Assessment & Planning

Every project begins with a careful assessment of your existing kitchen. We take the time to understand the construction, condition, and character of the cabinetry, as well as your expectations for the finished result.

Protection & Preparation

Floors, worktops, and surrounding areas are carefully protected before any work begins. Doors and fittings are removed to allow for thorough preparation and a clean, controlled working environment.

Surface Preparation

Proper preparation is essential to a lasting finish. Surfaces are cleaned, degreased, lightly sanded, and carefully filled where required to ensure a smooth and even base.

Hand Painting & Finishing

Paint is applied by hand using traditional techniques, allowing for careful control and attention to detail. Each coat is allowed to cure properly, resulting in a refined, durable finish.

Reassembly & Final Checks

Once painting is complete, doors and fittings are carefully reassembled. Final checks are carried out to ensure everything operates correctly and the finish meets our exacting standards.
