Kitchen Cabinet Painter, Hertfordshire, Harpenden, Benjamin Moore Advance Satin
This was a previously painted kitchen that had been sprayed when it was 1st manufacturered and installed. It was a very well made kitchen and the Doors & Drawer fronts where made from solid Oak, The remaining areas of the cabinets where made from laminated board side panels and laminated Cornice & Plinths.
The kitchen was painted in a dated off white when we started the refurbishment as below:
We have adhesion primers for any substrate and on this kitchen we used 2 different types, A shellac based for the Oak Doors & Drawer fronts, And a water based for the remaining areas on site, Very quick drying and low odour, After a really good degrease and clean we then sand down all surfaces before applying the primer, We then carried out any minor repairs and filling that was required.
The Doors & Drawer Fronts where removed and taken back to our workshop to be completed, Painted both sides and refitted on completion.
We recommended Benjamin Moore Advance Satin Finish on this kitchen, A beautiful Satin finish and very durable ideal for hard ware areas like Kitchens. The colour was Apparition, A very nice shade of Light Grey, The finish is incredible and most of our clients are amazed at the finish and think we have actually sprayed the doors and not hand painted by brush as there are no brush marks visible.
The Island was finished in a dark grey to contrast with the light grey on the main wall & Base cabinets.
Our kitchen was completed today. It looks like we have had a brand new kitchen fitted!Beautiful attention to detail, extremely good quality finish – it is perfect. Could not be happier.
