Hand Painted Pine refurbished Kitchen Furniture Northampton
This hand made pine kitchen was in need of a total refurbishment, All the doors required easing and the hinges ajusted, It had many layers of old wax and polish that had to be remove before painting could start, This was cleaned off with a power steamer and Krud Kutter just about the best cleaner for this job also removes all the grease.
The next step was to fully sand down the surfaces make good where required and apply the Zinsser Bin Primer a great shelac based primer that will just about adhere to any surface and will not chip or scratch off.
Next Step was to apply two coats of Helmi Furniture Paint water based undercoat followed by two coats of Helmi matt finish top coat furniture paint mixed in the equivalent to Farrow & Ball Tallow nice cream colour.
We also painted the chairs on this job the same spec as the cabinets and fitted new beech handles that where stained light oak and waxed, The work tops where replaced with beech to finish the job, the customer had new flooring fitted, The transformation was stunning and as you can see from the customers review they where very happy with the end result.

Paul has recently finished updating our custom – built, wooden kitchen units. A professional job from start to finish, including painting our old wooden chairs. We are delighted with the result – the standard of work is excellent and it was finished on time which was very important as we had a family wedding the
following week. We would highly recommend him.
