A large island solid oak kitchen
The island was a real feature on this kitchen, Set in a really nice converted Barn with all its original oak beams still in place.
The island was finished in Pavillion Gray as was the window seat 
The remaining areas of the kitchen where to be finished in Limed White mixed in Tikkurila Helmi Matt 10% sheen level mixed equivalents to farrow & Ball colour pallet.
Will supply the customer as many sample boards as they require to choose the colours and the finish.
This kitchen required all the doors and drawers to be checked and eased after paint film build up from previous repaints over the years, the doors and drawer fronts where removed & Completed before being completed and then refitted with new modern chrome hinges, the previous painters had not removed the doors and drawers and had left the hinges covered in paint.
A complete degrease and clean down was followed by sanding down with our Festool dustless system and any filling was then carried out. One coat of Opex primer and one coat of Opex undercoat where followed by 3 top coats of Helmi Matt, A very nice low luster finish that is designed for kitchens and is very durable, Probably the most popular finish we have used over the last couple of years.
