Hand Painted deVol Bespoke Kitchen, Jordans Village -Buckinghamshire
Jordans is a village in Chalfont St Giles parish in Buckinghamshire, It is a centre for Quakerism. The village is the burial place of William Penn, founder of the province of Pennsylvania, and so a popular tourist attraction with Americans. It is also the location of the Mayflower Barn, made from ship timbers from the Mayflower. Jordans friends meeting house was built in 1688, William Penn was born in 1644 and died penniless in Jordans in 1718.
This kitchen comes with its own history and story, It was supplied and fitted some 12 years ago by deVol, The young man that was involved in its design, planning and installation was a university placement student, Robin 12 years later is now the Managing Director of deVol quite an achievement and a story with a good ending. deVol Simple Furniture,Beautifully Made. www.devolkitchens.co.uk
