A deVol kitchen with a bit of a difference we hand painted in North London. This particular kitchen was actually supplied in bare wood unpainted, quite unusual for a company as well known as deVol.
deVol story is from humble beginnings founded in 1989 by two design graduates from Loughborough University Paul & Phil , within a few years they where starting to make a name for thereselfs making kitchens for clients across the UK. deVol has over 340 members of the team now with showrooms around the world.
This kitchen required the knowledge of a very specialist painter to produce a showroom hand painted finish from bare wood. At Traditional Painter we have been carrying out the hand painting to bespoke hand made kitchens for many years. Most of of specialists have a minimum of 20 years experience in the Hand Painting industry, some with well over 30 years. Its not a job for a general painter & decorator to undertake as specialist product knowledge is required, including materials, brushes and kit required to achieve a flawless hand painted finish that will stand the test of time.
As you can see from the finished photos the handles had not been fitted , the colour was prity new in painted kitchens as well. Mylands London Brown mixed in our preferred specialist furniture paint brand Tikkurila, a very durable furniture paint with a stunning finish available in Semi matt and satin.
